On Sunday the wife and I did an afternoon date, if you will. We went over to Ruby Tuesday’s where she used to work and ordered our meal with the salad bar. If you have not been to a Ruby Tuesday’s before, they have a huge salad bar that you can get with your meal for like $3.00 (without meal it costs more). I should mention that it’s all you can eat.

So we head up to the salad bar to get our salad. There’s a couple of people ahead of us and I think nothing of it. However after it takes me five minutes to get to the salad bowl where I can put the green’s on my plate I take a look at the people ahead of us. It’s a couple like us, but instead of taking something from the salad bar and putting it onto their plate and moving on they try and empty each container before moving on. I kid you not, this guy in front of my wife had a mountain of salad that if it crashed, it would have wiped out the whole Quad Cities. If it was a one trip salad bar thing I could understand piling it as high as Mt. Everest, but I’m pretty sure they do not serve a single trip salad bar. Any how I got what I needed, at least what was left it, and jumped ahead of them to get what I needed and went back to my table while they were still rummaging through the salad bar. So yeah…get your salad and go sit the hell down!
