Things you see while driving

As I was headed to school tonight I watched a mini van make a left hand turn onto the street. The mini van didn’t bother to get into the correct lane after he had made the turn. In other words he just stayed in the oncoming traffic at the red light. There was enough room to get around him, but he got some dirty looks. I waited for him to move before I quickly darted through the green light. More and more I see elderly people (70+) who should not be driving for one reason or another. This is one of those reasons. Least of all they should take a driving test and prove that they are competent to drive.

There are so many elderly people that need to be taken off the streets, but it’s a heart wrenching thing to do. It really isolates them, but they don’t realize how dangerous they are.

Brent I hadn’t thought about the aspect of freedom until i got home tonight, but you are correct on both accounts. It needs to be done, but it’s hard to do.

Here they aren’t even re-tested. They’re given an eye test and I don’t even think they have to pass that to get in. I never thought about it isolating them either, but they do need to realize how dangerous they are.
