I joined…

black ipodthe iPod generation yesterday. No I haven’t been listening to it everywhere I go. Hell I just put on the headphones for the first time. I ended up with the 30Gig black iPod. Currently I could fit my whole collection of music and audiobooks on this thing and it wouldn’t be full.

So why did I do it? I’ve been doing a lot of listening to audio books lately and it’s just a pain in the ass to put a CD in the car, take it into work (hopefully remembering where you were) and then repeating the process when you go home. So that’s part of the reason. And the other reason…well you only live once right? So that’s the other reason.

Now for some music suggestions! Anyone? I’m very varied in my music choices. Country to rap, Enya to Metallica I listen to it. Tend to stay away from the heavy metal where all they do is scream, but I’m sure there’s some out there that I could enjoy.

    I’ve gotten into KT Tunstall lately. She was a featured artist on Rhapsody (which I love) and I really like her.

    I’ve got the entire Tupac Collection on my computer if you want it. It’s 1.69 Gig’s of music and it’s complete. I’m like you, I listen to everything as all music has it’s place. Congrats on the iPod. The wife and I have been talking about getting one to share, but we’ll see.

    Patrick - I’m not a big Tupac fan, but I’m sure there’s a song or 2 that I like of his. if you have Ice Cube’s Put your Back into it, I’d like to have that. At least I think that’s who sings it.

    Can’t say as I’ve heard Put your Back in to it, but the wife did get the Eminem’s greatest hits CD recently. Not a big Tupac fan? He does have a few good songs. I thought that was a good find…between you and my wife I’m the only one.
