Patrick - Not backpacking...but packing a lot of stuff around with us. As soon as I get back I'll post up some pictures for everyone. A gallery I guess!

Well, I can't wait to see pictures from the vacation (sounds like you're backpacking) so that should make for some awesome pics. Are you gonna attend the 10 year reunion? Ours was pretty much like high school. The saturday ordeal the head cheerleader tried really hard to turn it in to prom. I can't tell you all the ways I hate the idea of having prom at 28 years of age, but this girl just really wanted to do it. We might not make the next one.

Chas - Try to be brief about this. Basically where I grew up has now become a haven for the rich. They visit in the summer and see how nice it is and they want to move there. Which is fine, but their coming with millions of dollars and building homes that you'd see in LA. And the jobs there are service jobs that pay minimum wage or a little more. Couple of examples. One restaurant that was in the valley had to close their evening shift because they couldn't anyone to work it (not enough pay or tips..). Guy I used to work with is building a 1500 sq ft ranch house. 250K to build it. So basically housing and such has become very expensive while the jobs are sucky!
