Earlier this week I was sweating like a pig, but now it’s just rain. Well at least for today it’s been rain. Which is actually kind of nice and I think we need it. As I drive over the river each day I have noticed how low it has been getting. And this is as low as I remember it being. Even compared to last years drought.

I took today off of work to work on some financing stuff. We are pretty close to replacing the old Honda Accord with a 2003 Jeep Liberty Sport (aka: gas hog!). It will mean paying more for gas, but it will be a new vehicle, which is kind of nice. On the plus side when we get back west we’ll have our camping vehicle already. We’ll be climbing every mountain there is! I’m still up in the air about getting the vehicle but I think we will probably go ahead and get it if the dealer can be talked down in price a bit!

Since it’s raining, we rented a couple of movies. It’s been awhile since we rented movies (netflix is very nice…movies at your door!). But we got the new Pink Panther and a couple of others. I’m sure the new one won’t be as good as the old one’s but I just have to see it. Back when I was a kid we would get one of the old Pink Panther movies on a regular basis. We always enjoyed watching them. Even if the movie sucks it will at least be 90 minutes of Beyonce!
