Intersting phone call

I’m sitting at work today and my work phone rings. Nothing unusual.

ME: This is Chris?
Caller: This is Steve with some siding place. My wife just gave me a note that said you needed a quote for siding on your house.
ME: Ummm…about 3 years ago.
Caller: Well how about windows or sun room?
ME: No thanks…

Yeah that has got to be the oddest phone call I’ve recieved. Who in their right mind is going to call 3 years after I leave a message. I’m kind of curious to know how he ended up with the message. Perhaps the powerball lottery will call in the next couple of days and tell me that my numbers were actually correct and I could living the good life. Maybe in my dreams!

You can add them to the list of people that need to be punched in the face. I got a call the other day from a job I applied for back in 2003. After telling them I was self employed and drinking a tall glass of rum at work, she still tried to talk me in to the job that “I would be just perfect for.” Amazing, I wouldn’t even have the gaul to call someone back after six months, I can’t imagine three years.

Rum on the job eh? Now that’s a hell of a job.

yeah I agree that people lost their mind if they think they are going to get my business 3 years later.
