Hanging out

Well I finished up my summer school stuff this past Thursday. And now I’m bored. Can you believe it? I need to find some hobby or something.

Last night the wife and I went out on a date. We went to the new Red Robin and had a drink and a burger. Both were good and by the time we left we had ate way to much. After a brief stop at Borders we went and saw Miami Vice. More so for me than for the wife. The wife made the comment that we were going to see 2.5 hours of tits and ass. I think there’s one hooter in the whole thing that you see. So guys don’t go for the tits and ass! Overall the movie was good, but honestly it wasn’t what I was expecting. I was expecting something with more action in it. It did have action in it, but there was definetly more story to it than I thought there would be. There’s a couple of scenes in the movie where the music starts playing and I was like “did the audio for the movie shut off?”. No there’s just like 5 minutes of music and no talking. At least that’s what I think happened. Very confusing.

Not sure what I’m going to do the rest of today since I have no homework. Probably catch up on some of my magazine writing and see if I can get a surround sound system.

Oh yeah a couple of photos I took this last week.

If I could let you hear my sound system through a phone I would, but I imagine it would just sound like static. At any rate, I still highly recommend the Onkyo over the bose. That’s just me. Glad to see you’re done with school for now. That’s pretty awesome. Feel relaxed yet? Relieved, even though it’s brief?

We actually ended up going with a Yamaha system. Which in hindsight is probably good because in the end it cost us like $500…more than we wanted to spend. Relieved about school for the time being.

Yamaha makes some good high end stuff. I’d be curious to hear one set up in house. I might one day replace my speakers with higher end Infinity or something like that, but that’s a good ways off.

That’s kind of what we figured. We could upgrade speakers and then perhaps the receiver somewhere down the road. We’ll see however.
