I’m still alive and kicking. Seems like quite a few of us have dropped off on our blogging. I’m going to try and get back into it with some more writing. I appreciate the kind comments on the writing. I think I’ve thought of a new character and exploits that I can write about…I need to flesh some things out, but once I start writing on it I’ll post it up here for everyone to read…critique!

Today the wife and I went and played some disc golf. We had a good time. I didn’t keep score which is a good thing because for the most part I totally sucked. Last night we watched First Descent which is a pretty good movie. It’s basically a documentary about snowboarding in Alaska. Kind of cool to watch the new snowboarders and the old snowboarders and how snowboarding became so big. Friday night we went to the cheap theatre and saw The Devil Wears Prada with Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep. Meryl Streep does an excellent job of playing a bitch. Good movie, but it’s a chick flick. We also watched Brokeback Mountain this last week. Interesting film. Kind of slow.

Tomorrow college starts…and I am not going!! Woohoo!! But honestly I’ve started to get those feelings of “there’s got to be something better out there” again. I’m enjoying work, but it’s getting to be a grind again. Not stressing about anything, but I think everyone gets those feelings every now and then, and they think there’s got to be something else out there…other than work.

In a couple of weeks I head out to Boise to hang out with my little brother. That should be a good time. With any luck I’ll get to tube the river and explore the city. I don’t know if I’ve mentioned it, but we’d like to move to Boise somewhere in the future. My brother and cousin both live there so it would be nice to live near other family. I haven’t seen my cousin in probably over 10 years so it will be great to meet his wife and see his new baby. I’ll be bringing my camera with me so I’ll have some photos to share when I get back.
