The wife and I had a date night last night. We went and saw Gridiron Gang with The Rock (Dwayne Johnson). If you’ve read this blog for awhile you’ll know I’m somewhat of a fan of The Rock. We weren’t sure what to make of this movie, but in the end it was AWESOME. If you get a chance to go and see this movie I highly recommend it. It’s your usual feel good movie, but with a little bit of hard hitting. The opening scenes are just down right intense. Kind of puts you in shock. What makes it even worse is that this probably happens all the time. If you’ve seen Varsity Blues and liked it, you’ll like Gridiron Gang.

Yesterday, despite the rain, I got out and played another round of golf. On Friday I was talking with a co-worker as to which course I should play. I was complaining about this one course being to easy and co-worker said “So go out and shoot a 72 on it.” I just smiled knowing there was no way in hell I was going to shoot a 72. My best score ever was a 79 on a course I had played for years. Yesterday I shot another 79. I couldn’t believe it. Honestly it should have been much better, but most golfers will tell you that!

And in other golf news…the USA got their asses kicked in the Ryder Cup. I don’t know what it is, but they just keep getting their asses kicked. It’s not even close. I think if they came out of the first 2 days by being within 1 point, they’d get it done, but no. However they usually are 4 to 5 points down.
