And now I remember…

Why golf can be so frustrating.

Went golfing at one of the courses I have wanted to play. The course was pretty good, but I totally sucked. I couldn’t buy a drive to save my life. If I took my driver out of the bag it was guaranteed to be a shitty shot. I know one of you reading this will think that’s pretty funny but at least I made it out there.

The way I feel right now I don’t really want to play next weekend, but I may just get it out of the way. Or maybe I had my bad round this weekend.

Oh…I shot a 90 by the way (Handicap now 15.1)!

Hey Chris! Don’t despair! Been there and done it. Over and over again. The driver is the hardest club in the bag to hit. Even the pros mess up big time. Fortunately for all of us, golf is such a multi-layered game. There are a myriad of different ways to get the ball on the green. And on the scorecard, you only see a number! Stick it out. It gets easier - sometimes!

Thanks Chris. It’s been a perpetual cycle for me. Hopefully when I’m “retired” I can pick it up again on a more consistent basis.
