Frosting Bandits

Eaten Cake

No this is not our entry into The Food Networks latest cake building expo. Nor is it an attempt to make a cake look like a shark fin or a wave. It is the result of the frosting bandits.

The wife and I went to workout last night after we got home from work (yes I had to work…it sucked but on the plus side I got to leave at 4:20…should have been 4 but absent minded professor forgot!). Any how we worked out, stopped by the grocery store and got something to eat. When we arrived home the lid was off of this cake and the frosting was missing from the parts that no longer exist in this photo (we had eaten a couple of pieces but not much). All of the windows in the house were in tact and the doors were all locked so it wasn’t a burglar with a fetish for licking off frosting. There were only 2 suspects. Frodo and Tonks our cats. When we looked down at Frodo he was licking his lips as if he had just finished off some frosting. Tonks was there and as soon as I went to grab him he went to his crate as if he was guilty of the crime. We still don’t know who did it, but they both spent a few minutes in their crates as punishment.

I guess it’s time for the newspaper and mouse trap trick again.

Raul - It’s where you put mouse traps down on the counter or wherever you don’t want the cats and then cover it with paper. When they jump up there that traps will go off and scare them. Paper is to keep them from putting their foot in it.

Sounds like fun. A similar trick to stop dogs from going into parts of the yard is to put down balloons, covered with a bit of dirt. Great to watch :)

Both of those look like they’d be hilarious. I might have to try them on the rumrunners cats and dogs just for fun.

Scott - I’m assuming the balloons have air in them? Not sure I fully understand it.

Raul - The rumrunners will come back and their dog and cats will be paranoid!

Mike - Yeah they didn’t care of about the lumps of baking soda…I don’t either!
