Shooter Review
So I went and saw Shooter yesterday. I think I mentioned in yesterday’s post that this was based on a novel that I had read awhile back. The novel was called Point of Impact and it was written by Stephen Hunter. Good book if you are looking for something to read (it actually ends up being a whole series of books).
Any how the movie was good, worth the price of a matinee. They made a few changes here and there, due to Marky Whalberg playing Bob Lee Swagger, but other than that they hit all of the major parts from what I remember of the book (it’s been a few years).  I’d give it a 7 out of 10, but I’m probably a bit biased because I love movies like this.
There was one good preview that I saw. It was for Next which stars a long hair Nick Cage, Jessica Biel and Julliane Moore. Looks kind of interesting. I believe it’s based on a Philip K. Dick novel (his books were the basis of Minority Report and Paycheck with Ben Afflack).
