I had this post about technology and how we can’t seem to get away from it, but I thought it was a bit preachy so I erased it.

Spring is definetly here. I shut the fireplace off the other day and I have a blister on my hand from raking leaves. I also built a cage to keep birds out of our in wall air conditioners. I felt really bad about doing it (last year I ended up having to move the nest with eggs in it…they didn’t make it). And over the winter they nested there again and were starting to build another large nest when I got out there on Saturday. No eggs this time, but I moved it and built something that will keep them out of there permanently. Moohahahah! I’ll probably have bird crap over the Jeep all summer for that one.

Dancing With The Stars is on…it’s the first elimination round. I am going to say it here that I believe Billy Ray Cyrus is gone. Although he did improve it was not enough and he doesn’t look that comfortable out on the floor. I also have to say that the wife and I have agreeded that the quickstep is not something that we will be learning at this point. It’s like 100 steps a minute or something like that. Very quick and it doesn’t look like fun. Not to mention that the guys have to wear tails…or at least it looks that way so far.

And with that I’m about to hit the bed. I was up early and at work by 6:30 this morning to get a database migration done that took almost all day (part of it was my lack of knowledge I have to admit).
