We had our private dance lesson last night.  It sucked.  It was just one of those nights were our feet just didn’t want to work for whatever reason. These nights come and they go.  Hopefully in the end there are more better nights than bad nights.  Quickly afterwards we had a newcomers class for the Tango.  This dance has grown on me so it was a good time (unlike our private dance).  I danced with one older lady who wanted me to use all of my Tango moves.  I kindly told her that wasn’t going to happen since we were in a newcomers class. Additionally I’m a horrible lead in some of these (most of these?) so we just ended up turning a bit more dramatic, which seemed to keep her pleased.  My wife commented afterwards that she thought that the older lady just wanted to dance with me.  We stayed for a little bit of the put into practice dance…and it sucked. Again our timing was off, the dance floor seemed a bit crowded and any other excuse I can throw in I will!  Overall not one of our better nights, but it will get better.

We had some MAJOR weather come through yesterday. We had some tornado’s touch down all around us, but thankfully nothing near us.  Something else to be thankful for…no one was injured with all of the tornado’s.  Lots of people missing houses and the such, but everyone walked away alive.

Tomorrow morning we head to the air show.  Hopefully the weather will be good and I can get some decent pictures to post up.
