We survived the unveiling of our dance’s on public floors!  It wasn’t our best effort, but it was passable. There were a few instances where my timing was off, but overall I’m pretty pleased with how it went.  We used our rumba, swing and tango, but no foxtrot (although they did play it).  Just a table away from use were 3 couples from the dance studio so it was kind of nice to see them out there as well (2 couples WAY better than us and 1 couple a bit lower than us…IMHO).  Towards the end of the night one of the former instructors showed up…damn he was good.  I would love to be able to lead like him.  It was so smooth and looked great.  We’ll do it again and we have a lot of room for improvement, but it was a lot of fun.
