As I mentioned before, my dad arrived on Friday night.  He’s on a cross country, or at least to the middle of the country, photography trip.  Yesterday morning we made it down to a place called Credit Island (I’ve posted some pictures from there).  He was able to get his bazooka (for the photography inclined…a 500m with a 1.4 extender on it!) attached to the window and we drove around taking pictures of blue heron’s.  And a kingfisher as well. The kingfisher was really cool.

Today we are doing much of the same…hanging low.  I went shopping this morning and just got done mowing the lawn. And now…I’m ready for a nap!  I think we are going to catch a movie and do some shopping but other than that, not much else is planned.  I did go through some of my old photos and ran across this photo below that I thought was pretty good, when I looked at it again!
