So as I said in my last post we went dancing on Friday night.  The DJ was better than the previous time, just because he knew what music to play for what dance. And his wife is one of the former dance instructors.  I don’t know if I mentioned it on here, but this lady has platinum blonde hair.  Both my wife and I tend to think it’s a wig of some sort, but we aren’t 100% sure.  If it isn’t then it’s definetly dyed!  Any when we arrived the couple that we’ve communicated with the most at the dance studio was there sitting by themselves so we joined them.  My wife asked what they did. The husband told us and then the wife.  And what she told us made me laugh.  She’s a head hunter for the industry that I work in (it’s not computers!).  What a small world it can be sometimes.

The first couple of dances we did were great I thought.  I was on time and everything flowed.  I probably didn’t do enough moves, but we got through it. Then the last couple were a bit off, but I did more moves.  Something the wife likes is when I throw in lots of moves. What she doesn’t understand is that it’s not natural yet for me to do it. Sometimes I’m on and other times I’m not.

We watched Breach yesterday which is the Robert Hansen story (this being the guy who sold billions of dollars of secrets to the Russians and had at gave up at least 50 spies).  It had Chris Cooper in it and Ryan Phillipie.  Not very fast paced, but the hour and 50 minutes went by rather quickly I thought.

After that we tried to start a fire…but failed miserably.  Lots of humidity and no wind didn’t make for good conditions.

I haven’t had my camera out since my dad was here, so I took some photos on Friday of Frodo as he sat in the sun.  I really need to take some more photos!
