Day 8: House Hunting
Today we got out and did some exploring of Cheyenne. On the list was finding the super Wal-Mart. We found it and did some generic shopping. The prices were MUCH better than Safeway that we went to yesterday. So we breathed a sigh of relief on that front.  Oh yeah…if you’ve been to one Wal-Mart you’ve seen them all. They are all about the same except for a few minor things.
After doing some more exploring our realtor called us. This was the start of our house hunting. The first house we looked at didn’t suit us. The 2nd one however is incredible. It’s near an area called the Avenues. The Avenues is a older area with some very nice houses in it. This one is on the edge and there are some other nice houses around it and there’s some not so nice houses around it that bother us a bit. The other thing that bothers us about this place is the fact that there’s no garage. So those are the 2 negatives. The positives are that this house has been completely re-done from top to bottom. Everything is new. New red hardwood floors (awesome!), new bathroom, new cabinets…on and on. So this one is at the top of our list. The other house that we like is in a completely different area of town. It’s a split level in a nice area of town. It has a HUGE 2 car garage which is awesome. The rooms are a bit small and the kitchen is smaller as well, but other than that it’s very nice. So it’s between these 2 right now but we are going to look at some other houses tomorrow.
I also seem to have misplaced my card reader so photos are going to be delayed for a bit.
