Day 10: More looking
I’m a bit late in posting this. Yesterday we went and looked at yet more houses. However unlike the other days where nothing was really what we were looking for we found one that we liked and put in an offer on it. We should know later today if they will accept our offer or not. We are a bit nervous buying a house here and still having a house in Iowa, but it’s the way it’s going to be for awhile. Hopefully the house in Iowa will sell shortly and we can move on. Until then I’ll be a nervous wreck!
When I came out here for my interview they told me that the wind blew hard out here. It hadn’t blown that hard until last night. And it’s still blowing. Some combine the wind (gusts up to 50 mph) with the trains that go right past our motel room (blaring their horns) and it adds up to a fitful night of sleep. Cheyenne is also a railroad town. It’s the last stop before they head over the Rock Mountains. And when the trains come or go they let their horn loose. Not very conducive to getting a good nights sleep.
