2 minutes
Yesterday I timed my drive from the office back to our temporary home. It took 2 minutes. I really like that. However it doesn’t allow me time to listen to my podcasts like I want to. The new house will be very similar in the fact that it will probably take about 3-5 minutes to get to and from work. Which means lunch at home and possibly a dog in the future. We just have to agree on what we want. Since we don’t have a large yard it is probably going to be some sort of small yapper! And I’ll definetly be walking to work in the spring/summer/fall.
We should be signing papers on the house next Tuesday. Not sure when we will be in it because the movers gave us this wonderful time frame of between November 1st and November 6th. Wonderful. And one more home inspection today. Hopefully they don’t find anything major. The heating and plumbing guy found $895 that needs to be done. Couple of them HAVE to be done so we’ll get them done ($500 from the sellers for repairs).
The other day I had posted about the friend of ours that had a mass on his brain. We found out last night that it looks to be cancerous. They won’t know for sure until next week, but please keep them in your prayers. This is the couple that just got married in July. I can’t imagine what they or anyone else would be going through this early in life.
