I Am Legend

Snowy PathLast night M (the wife) and I went out for a date night. Dinner at Applebees and our first movie at the primary movie theatre in the mall. We went and saw I Am Legend. What can I say about I Am Legend. How about this. It’s a good movie, but it might make you cry. I’ll leave it at that.

We have hit the bitter cold here. I suppose that it could get colder here, but for right now 20’s with the wind is where we are at. And probably 6 inches of snow on the ground. The roads are crap, unless you’re on the primary roads. For some reason (probably money) they don’t bother to plow the side roads even after the main one’s are cleared. There was something in the paper about clearing the side roads, but it would be more taxes. A big fat no on that one (their already passing what’s called the 6th penny tax for improvments and such).

The new job still continues to be awesome. It has it’s bumps in the road, but overall it’s incredible.

Next week my brother and my parents will be making their way here for the holidays. I’m taking the week off and can’t wait to see them. We most likely will sit around and play cards and drink the whole time. Expect some photos as well.

I think that’s about it. I hope everyone is getting their Christmas shopping done. I’ve got a few more things to get, but that’s it!

As usual, I’m jealous of your snow! I think I’ve been saying that for years now.

My husband went to see I Am Legend, and he also mentioned something about it being sad.

Chas - You guys really need to take a Christmas/Vacation out here if you want the snow.

Yeah Legend was kind of sad.
