With a week of vacation I should have posted at least a few times, but  I didn’t.  Oh well.

Both my brother and my parents arrived on the 22nd of December with their dogs in tow.  It was exciting for the first day or so with the cats, but eventually both adjusted.  Oh Frodo was his usual pain in the ass from time to time, but over all we were pleased with the outcome.  It gives us hope that we can get a dog somewhere in the future and not have the cats beat the tar out of it.  Now if we could just agree on the type of dog to get we’d be that much closer!

My wife caught the flu over Christmas and we spent a couple of hours at the walk in clinic on Thursday (when she said it felt like she was coughing up razor blades I put my foot down and took her to the clinic). Influenza 1 was the diagnosis.  After that we went to the Wal-Mart pharmacy.  It was busy so it took a little longer than it should have, but we got the rather expensive drugs and made our way home.

On Wednesday my dad and I went out to take pictures. We ran across a couple of coyotes and a couple of golden eagles.  We got a few keepers but not as many as we would have liked to get.  I’ll post some of those up a bit later.

One last observation before I sign off.  For those that get snow and read this blog, do you notice that peoples parking ability is lost?  I was at Wal-Mart yesterday picking some things up and there was a few cars that were parked right in the middle of the driving lanes.  Maybe it’s the type of people that go to Wal-Mart.

Oh yeah…we also found an even cheaper theatre to go to.  $1.00 gets you into the movie.
