Play with your cats, take them for a walk, ditch the flab.
The job thing is a never-ending dilemma. It seems that people in India and China know how to work for very little and are taking our jobs. These people who don't want to work are also the ones having children they don't want to make mind. Where is this heading?!?

Chas - yes I agree with you that it should be easier for those of us with good work ethics to find a job, but I also think these people I'm talking about have been able to master the "look like I'm doing a lot, but I'm not really doing anything". I've seen many people like this.

You'd think that if an entire generation didn't want to work that it'd make it easier for people like us to find jobs, right?

I couldn't agree with you more. It wouldn't surprise me to see some numbers on people's savings and other stuff. I think eventually to support my generation ( and others ) it's going to be a case of major taxes like in Europe where the government takes care of everyone. Good or bad I don't know.

What we have is a generation of people who have been given everything without having to work for it. The generation of today is me, me, me and that of instant gratification, read: Charge now, pay later. we unfortunately are on a downward spiral that has no clear "exit strategy". Government continues to infiltrate peoples lives and pass laws under the guise that "this is whats best" rather than make people work for a living and quit with the subsidies and handouts that continue to exploit those who are causing the very problems.
