Geico…
So as we slowly become citizens of Wyoming, one of the things we had to do was get car insurance. Since we know zero people around here, I thought I’d check out Geico. Their commercials are everywhere, the gecko is kind of cute and best of all…Warren Buffet owns part or all of them. So long story short we are now insured through Geico and let me just tell you…we saved a ton of money just on auto insurance. Our last policy was with The Hartford and we had house insurance and car insurance. I thought I was getting a deal, but that was not the case. With Geico we are paying almost half of what we were paying through The Hartford. Customer service was great as well. So for anyone looking to save a few bucks, I can’t recommend Geico enough. (I know I sound like one of their commercials, but it was really easy!).
Yesterday I had an encounter with my former work place that was rather interesting. I sent in a ticket to them about something that wasn’t working the way it should be. It was low priority and all I wanted them to do was put in a ticket to the programmers. From one of the guys in customer support I get back how I can however over the graph and get the numbers I’m looking for. I proceed to tell him that I don’t want to hover over each graph to get the numbers. Further more other members that have to do a statistics report each month probably don’t want to do it either. More than anything I was trying to help them out with what I think is a broken piece of software. After I went off (I was probably a tad to harsh) I e-mailed one of my friends there and told them about the situation. In return I get back this form letter, which was totally unexpected. Kind of funny actually, but it was kind of odd as well. I was left to think that big brother was watching, which wouldn’t be to far fetched, or their trying to be a company man/woman. Which either one it is, I totally understand, but it was just rather odd coming from this person.
I’m almost 1 week on this mega diet, and I’m down almost 6 pounds. 3 more weeks to go. It will be interesting to see where I end up. My tip for workouts is lift heavy weights and shorten your rest periods (start at 60 seconds and each week take of 10 seconds).
I’ve probably said enough already, so I’ll sign off here before everyone is asleep. I’ll try and post tomorrow.
