King of Kong

The guy that I work with brought me in a couple of movies to watch this weekend.  One of them was King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters.  It’s a documentary about people who are going after the Donkey Kong high score.  If you’ve got nothing better to watch get this one.  It’s an interesting look into gamers and their obsessions (some of them actually remind me of a few people I worked with). This one specifically is about one mans quest to be recognized as one of the high score holders.

I really thought that I had more to say but lo and behold I don’t.

Go Giants…I’d love nothing more than to have the Giants give New England a loss.  Honestly the reason I watch the Super Bowl is for the ads.  For some reason I have a hard time sitting through a whole football game.

Haven’t seen the movie, but would you by any chance be referring to T-hole?

I was kinda hoping to see the Patriots go 19-0 but looks like Eli was the man this weekend. The funny thing is both him and Brady were my quarterbacks in fantasy football this year. Guess for a rookie I made some decent picks huh?

illflux - Actually the guys reminded me of LB. Watch it and you’ll know what I mean.

Raul - Not bad on your QB’s…and how can you say it was a boring game? One of the best that I can remember…

We just watched the end of the game. My husband was protesting b/c his Colts weren’t in it. He loves Peyton Manning though, so Eli winning was the next best thing.

The game just seemed slow until the last quarter. Maybe it’s that or because I spent most of it cooking for our friends…cooking in the rain. Grab a straw, welcome to the suck.

Chas - I wanted the Colts as well. Wish they would have matched up against the Patriots. I think they could have given them a good game.

Raul - I agree it was a bit slow, but I just kept waiting for the Patriots to explode and it never happened. That kept me excited.
