Las Vegas is out…

About a week ago I said we were headed to Las Vegas. Well Las Vegas got expensive rather quickly, so I think we are going to do some traveling here locally.  Right now the current thought is heading up to Estes Park for 3 or 4 days and heading into Rocky Mountain National Park for some hiking.  Right now my wife is looking for ways to torture me. Such as horse back riding. The last time I was on a horse I was like 8 years old and got pulled off by my ears when we went under a clothsline.  That should be loads of fun!

The other area that I looked up was Grand Junction Colorado which is near Arches National Park.  I’d really like to do that trip and take a bunch of photos.  Of course I’d need to re-learn how to use my camera because I haven’t used it in a long time.

Speaking of camera’s, I got a flier for Rocky Mountain Photography School.  They are having some classes down in Denver that look kind of interesting.  We’ll see about that.

Something has clicked with Guitar Hero and I’ve been tearing it up.  That was until I met the guitar player for Rage Against the Machine! I got my ass kicked!  I will beat him by the end of this weekend however!

I need to start getting ready to go to the gym.  Only 6 more workouts after today…and then I’m home free!!

No more Vegas huh? We’ve been wanting to go to Vegas but my problem with any vacation is that I hate spending the money on it when we go anywhere. We’re looking for somewhere to go this year, but it will likely be an overnight trip.

Six more workouts? What’s after that?

That’s too bad about Vegas…we love it there. It sounds like you’re going to have fun anyway.

Raul - We’ll get back to vegas eventually. It’s not that expensive from here. I suspect the same thing for flights from Atlanta.

Chas - Vegas is a blast. And yeah we’ll have fun anyways…well at least be able to relax for a few days!
