On Thursday, my wifes birthday, we met for lunch at a Chinese place.  It was the first time that I had been there and her second time.  It was busy since it was noon and it’s smack dab in the middle of down town where everyone takes their lunch break at noon.

We finally get a seat.  That seat right by where everyone is standing and waiting for a table and they bump into your table all the time.  As we are finishing eating we get our bill with the standard fortune cookies.  As I’m eating mine my wife says “your supposed to read it out loud and put in bed at the end of it”.

“Where did you hear that?” I asked.

“Some of the girls from work told me about it.  It makes your fortune more interesting”.

So I read my fortune to myself and put “in bed” at the end of it.  Yeah it made it more interesting.  Give it a try next time you have a fortune cookie!
