Still no hot water
We are still without hot water. Yeah it’s been almost a week and we are without hot water. It is not due to inept repairman. It’s due to Whirlpools hot water heaters being pieces of shit. I won’t go into all of the details, but if you have a Whirlpool hot water heater (I don’t know if it’s just gas or electric), be prepared for problems. I did various searches on the net about Whirlpool hot water heaters and I found nothing good said about them.
In this whole process I ended up talking to 3 people at Whirlpool. First of all they hardly speak english (Indian I believe) and they always have some American name like Glen or Peter. I think when they come into work each morning they pick which name they are going to use so that despite not being able to speak very good english they can at least sound more American by having an American name.
Despite not having hot water we are getting along just fine. We have a gym membership that allows us to shower so we don’t stink like pigs. And I think today we’ll take cold showers, but I’m not 100% sure on that!
