Hot water and lots of it!

So we have a brand new hot water heater and I was able to take a shower at home for the first time in a week.  It was awesome.  I also have to say that the water seems a bit hotter than the old hot water heater.  I just about burned myself! It’s small things like hot water that we take advantage of.

We took Tonks, our larger cat, into the vet yesterday to have some work done (teeth cleaned, blood work and an x-ray on his leg).  The x-ray wasn’t good.  His kneecap is all the way to the inside, rather than on top of the knee.  Not good, but it’s also WAY expensive to fix.  He gets around pretty good so for the time being we are going to leave it.  The bad part is that when we brought him home his brother, Frodo, thinks he’s a whole different cat and won’t get close to him.  Hisses and growls at him.  I’m starting to think that Frodo has some mental issues, but I’m not sure.  I hope that somewhere along the line they start to get along again. Tonks is a bit confused by the whole situation.  Prior to the vet appointment they were the best of buds. Tag team for trying to get us up in the morning.  They’d sit in the window and clean each other.  More times than not they’d sleep together.  However Frodo is pretty determined that something is different with Tonks.

Cats are so weird. I’m sure Frodo will accept his brother again…it could take a few months, lol, but I’m sure he’ll get there.

Chas - They are back to normal…whatever normal is for a cat. It took a couple of days, but one day I came home from work and they were both there begging for food. No idea why Frodo went bonkers, but it’s over!

That’s a little strange, but like Chas said…so are cats. Glad you got hot water. We don’t have any at the store and the landlord just grumbles any time I mention that to him as something that needs to be fixed. In the summer it isn’t so bad, but in the winter it kinda sucks.
