This is one of the reasons that we moved out to Wyoming.  The outdoor activities.  Not that there aren’t outdoor activities in Iowa, it’s just damn near impossible to do because your trying to breath in air that’s a foot thick (humidity).

Any how we drove up to Vedauwoo on Saturday.  It’s an area popular with rock climbers and there’s a trail around the base of the climbs. So since we don’t climb, we did the hike which was great, but towards the end we were getting a bit nervous that we were lost.  We weren’t thankfully, but next time we’ll be a bit better prepared.
