As you see from the title, I’m not a handyman.  I can do small things around the house such as install shades, fix broken toilets and replace furnace filters, but when it comes to certain things, such as installing windows (which we did just have done…only 9 more old windows to replace!) and working on hot water heaters, it’s best left to the professionals.

However professionals are not all that they are cracked up to be.  Last year when we moved into this house we had the caulking in our shower downstairs replaced.  As of now it’s not looking to good and it needs to be replaced.  I’ve tried replacing the caulking in a shower/tub before and it’s been horrible. Picture gobs of white goo all over your shower and bathtub.  So I saw an advertisement for ProCaulk tool a few weeks ago.  I’m usually pretty skeptical of these TV infomercials, but this one I could not pass up on.  So I just ordered one and hopefully it will be hear early next week and I will be well on my way to repairing all of our showers and bathrooms.  Either that or I will have donated $25.90 to a great infomercial.  Only time will tell!
